I’m Not Here to Cure My Dermatitis. I’m Here to Learn How to Live With It.

I’m writing this during an active dermatitis flare-up. My skin is irritated. Some days it itches. Other days it burns. And right now, I’m at the beginning of a structured 6-month learning program focused on understanding and managing dermatitis in a more realistic, sustainable way. This is not a success story. This is not a before-and-after. And this is not medical advice. This is documentation.

Why I’m Starting This Blog

For a long time, I thought the goal was to fix my skin.

Try this product.
Eliminate that food.
Follow this routine perfectly.

What I’m slowly learning is that dermatitis isn’t something you simply solve — it’s something you manage. And management goes far beyond skincare.

It affects:

  • stress

  • sleep

  • daily routines

  • food choices

  • travel

  • expectations

  • mental load

I created this space to document what I’m learning as I go — honestly, without quick fixes or miracle promises.

Where I Am Right Now

I have fair, sensitive skin and I’m currently experiencing flare-ups.

I’m not an expert.
I’m not healed.
I’m not offering solutions.

I am someone who is:

  • learning how to track triggers without obsessing

  • building routines that fit real life

  • noticing how stress shows up on my skin

  • trying to live well while having dermatitis, not after it disappears

This blog will evolve as I do.
